WHO WE ARE

We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.

What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.

When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administrationโ€™s unjust and cruel acts of violence.

On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Weโ€™re not watching history happenโ€”weโ€™re making it.

Join Indivisible Northern NV, Our Center, ACLU Nevada, 50501 NNV, Biggest Little Action Group Reno, Sierra Club Toiyabe Chapter, Northern NV Central Labor Council, International Brotherhood of Teamsters 533 and PLAN (Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada) for a march through Downtown Reno and a rally at City Hall Plaza (the Believe sign).

DE-ESCALATION

Show Your Patriotism

If youโ€™ll be carrying a U.S. flag, weโ€™d love for you to join us at the front of the march!

Please plan to arrive by 9:30 AM โฐ so we can gather, get organized, and be ready to start together. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Make Your Signs

You can create or print out your own signs by going to the Indivisible nationalโ€™s toolkit here.

Take Part In Our Food Drive for the NV Central Labor Council

Rising costs for gas, healthcare, and groceries are hitting working families hard. Letโ€™s come together to support our community while we push for change.

At the start of the march, weโ€™ll collect non-perishable food donations for local families through the Northern NV Member Assistance Program. Food barrels will be near 201 W. Liberty and in City Plazaโ€”please check expiration dates. Bring what you can and help make a difference.

No Kings On The Dance Floorโ€ฆ

โ€ฆUnless youโ€™re one of these kings or queens!

Weโ€™re kicking things off at Believe Plaza with a community wide dance and we need EVERYONE to participate.

Learn the moves now by watching this video or join in the fun on the day. Either way, WEโ€™RE BRINGING THE JOY, THE COMMUNITY AND THE CONNECTION they fear. So everybody get up - and letโ€™s DO this! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Liberty Street will be closed from Arlington to South Virginia Street.

    • South Virginia Street will be closed from Stewart Street (immediately south of the Federal Building) to First Street (just past City/Believe Plaza). It will remain closed until 2 PM. However, there are two open traffic lanes:

      • An east bound lane is open from California to Stewart.

      • The Starbucks Drive Thru will be accessible via Liberty Street (from Center Street)

  • There is street parking available around the area, as well as at the county parking lot located between Virginia and Sierra Streets (adjacent to Nevada State Bank) and Court Street to the north.  Please note: since Virginia will be closed for the march, this lot will only be accessible from Sierra and Court Streets.

Additionally, there are two parking garages on E. First Street, directly across from City Plaza/the Believe sign (our rally point/destination).

  • There are no public restrooms on the route, but there will be sanihuts available at City Plaza.

  • REMSA will be on site. If you or anyone you are with has a medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1.

WHAT CAN I DO?

It's going to take more than one day of action to stop the spread of authoritarianism in our country.

We need everyone to stay involved for the long run.

Channel your No Kings energy into long-term, meaningful action!

Stop by Believe Plaza until 1 PM where local nonprofits will be set up and ready to connect! It's a great chance to meet community members, learn about causes, and find ways to volunteer, donate, and stay involved.
